About Ethel Cain

Basic Information

Ethel Lenora Cain, from Shady Grove, Alabama, was born in 1970, making her 16-19 years old during the events with Willoughby and 20-21 during the events with Isaiah. She has long brown hair and green eyes and is approximately 5 foot 8 inches.

There is no one song that establishes Ethel's character in Preacher's Daughter, rather she changes throughout the album. Hayden says she "didn’t want her to feel stagnant and 2D" and that she "think(s) SBF into strangers shows her growth the most, obviously, being the end tracks, but her immaturity early in the album was needed to show that change".

According to Hayden, we will get a full run down of Ethel's life in the Preacher's Daughter book. It should be noted that Ethel is an unreliable narrator

Ethel Cain was last seen in the parking lot of Winn Dixie in Arlington, Texas.

The following poster has been distributed in an effort to find her.
